.
More information will be provided at Orientation/Registration; we ask those interested in our program to contact us about coming to one of our drills on a Wednesday night (usually at 6:30 p.m.) to meet us and get an introduction to our program. Formal group orientations are scheduled before our new Recruit Training sessions begin--usually in July or August and again in January or February. Please see our unit website at palmbeachym.org for more details.
Become an Adult Volunteer.
We need adults to help us run the program. If you would like to help, and are age 18 or older with at least a high school diploma or equivalent, speak to our Unit Commander. If the Unit Commander approves, we will do a background check and check
character references for the safety of our youth. While military experience is helpful, it is not required.
